We’re Lynn and Andrew, partners in life, business, and parenting two little ones who inspired it all. Basosi began not as a business idea, but as a solution—when our firstborn reacted to traditional soaps, we went searching for a gentle, soap-free alternative. When we couldn’t find anything we felt good about using on his sensitive skin, we decided to make our own. That’s how our very first product, the Baby Body Wash Bar, was born!

 

What started as a single bar has grown into a full line of shampoo, body wash, face cleansers, and a one-and-done conditioner bar—all designed to be gentle, effective, and completely free of single-use materials. Every product is rooted in our zero-waste ethos and made to support a simpler, more sustainable lifestyle—for individuals, families, and anyone looking to reduce their impact without compromising on care.

 

Our daughter has only ever used Basosi, and thanks to our soap-free, pH-balanced formulas, we rarely if ever need to use lotion on her skin, our sons and even our own. It’s one of those everyday wins that keeps us going. We're so proud to be building this business as a family and are honoured to be The Collective’s Maker of the Month.
